Our office manager, a 20+ year employee finally had enough and did not
like some of the recent changes. She was in the owner's office and he
said something that irritated her and pushed the limit. She was a bit
past 66 full retirement at the time.

She: I'm going to retire
Boss: Oh, when?
She: In about an hour

About an hour later, she was out the door. There was another person
already to take over as she knew it was just a matter of time.

I was about six months behind her. At that point I was already working
just three days.
