Here's another example proving I'm not the only one to think the 
average human these days is an idiot.

UK comedian Ben Elton, writer of "Blackadder" comedy TV series among 
other things, has a good phrase to sum up the human race:
    "The greatest threat to humanity is not artifical intelligence.
     It's the same one it has always been: Authentic Stupidty."

He has also created a new term to describe current era of humans: 
"Homohalfwit".
