Hello,

To celebrate the first anniversary of the end of Google Groups, I wanted
to announce a new software dedicated to Usenet.

Unyt 1.0

Unyt is an advanced, transparent NNRP proxy running as a service under
Microsoft Windows platforms (32 & 64bit).

It aims to provide IPv6 and SSL/TLS support, Cancel-Lock authentication
mechanism and Nocems notices to old newsreaders (or those that don't
support one or more of these features).

Key features include :

- User-friendly graphical interface (available in English and French),
- Fully configurable to meet most needs,
- Transparent mode (only routes traffic between readers and servers),
- IPv4 & IPv6 support,
- Support for secure connections (TLS 1.0 -> 1.3 and SSL 2/3),
- Support for Cancel-Lock authentication mechanism,
+ Support for Nocems notices,
+ Integrated GnuPG manager (similar to Kleopatra) for importing, adding
or deleting  issuer keys,
* Multi-account / multi-server,
- 100% thread-safe code,
- Works with all newsreaders and servers,
- Freeware.

(+) Currently being tested and available in the future.
(*) Limited to 2 for the first beta version.

If you'd like to take part in the beta version (available from March 1,
2025), send an e-mail to the one shown in the screenshot:
