The Santa Monica Pier and the 3rd Street Promenade are (or, more accurately,
used to be) some of the top tourist attractions in the L.A. area. Well, after
years of the government allowing vagrants and criminals to do whatever they
want, this is what it’s like now. Santa Monica is now rated by the FBI as the
most dangerous city in California. Over half the businesses have shuttered and
the thriving, crowded tourist attraction that it once was is now a ghost town.
And for some reason, the mayor and the city council think this is great.
