I've been using Linux since 1995 and I have run into some hardware issues over the years.

1. A Winmodeml US Robotics I think. Could not make it work.
2. Ancient Canon printer, winprinter I suspect.
3. Broadcom network chips.
At some point, all were well documented in the various Linux fora.
I was kinda bleeding edge at the time.
