Events that were precursor to Trump's first impeachment, Trump demanded that Ukraine trump up evidence versus Biden that Biden was somehow complicit with the corrupt Ukraine oligarchs, instead of trying to twist a corrupt Ukrainian administration into prosecuting corrupt oligarchs as a condition of receiving American aid. This was while Biden was Obama's vice president At the time, Trump was supporting the Russian line on Ukraine and needed something to use against Biden in the 2020 election. Trump didn't care that it would have been almost entirely fictional. I was noticing that certain American newspapers are using the Russian transliteration "-sky" instead of the Ukrainian "-skyy", a bit ironic given centuries of Ukrainian objection to having had their language suppressed as part of incorporation into Catherine the Great's empire and as a Soviet republic. Hell, I saw this in C-SPAN's graphics as well, a news organization that is supposed to be entirely neutral.
