Because that's what > you're implying with that logic. No, not saying that I "want" that. I'm merely noting that when you're doomed to die anyway, nuking the other SOB takes them down with you. If that starts a larger exchange (or not) is no longer relevant to you because you're already dead: its the principle of MAD as a deterrent, and my observation is that MAD only works when both sides have nukes. So if you really want peace, solution is give Ukraine back their nukes. -hh
