The python source is written in C so yes, compiling it is a C question. If
you want a group with only narrow specific issues about C discussed start your
own moderated one. And expect to get zero users.

Seems as well as not understanding a valid question you can't even follow a 
thread. I'm not the OP, I was merely supporting his posting here. HTH.

Oh, and I removed the crosspost, building the C source would have no relevance
to that group.
