It depends on which figures you want to believe, but except for a few 
small bumps, viewer numbers have basically been steadily falling, 
especially since the move to Disney+ (partly thanks to international 
viewers simply not wanting to pay for streaming even if they still 
wanted to watch the show).

Reportesdly, the 2024 season had the lowest viewer numbers for *any* 
season (including teh bad ol' days of Sylvester McCoy) and the 2024 
Christmas Special had the second lowest viewer numbers for any of the 
specials.
