/home/kyonshi/.mutt/colorschemes/solarized-dark-256.neomuttrc also 
creates this error.

The file specifically says
source ~/.mutt/colorschemes/solarized-dark-256.neomuttrc
this is the only source entry in the muttrc.

it gives me the error
Error in /home/kyonshi/.mutt/muttrc, line 9: source: file 
/home/kyonshi/.mutt/colorschemes/solarized-dark-256.neomuttrc could not 
be sourced
