The last time I ate grapefruit, I used a paring knife to peel it and cut it into supremes. Back when I was a kid, I salted my grapefruit rather than putting sugar on it. Now I just eat it plain. I also used to salt watermelon, apples, and cantaloupe. A little pepper on the cantaloupe, too. -- Cindy Hamilton
