I forgot what a faff changing phones is, even with Smart Switch. However: on my old phone I have icon-links to bookmarks on my home screen (my browser is Brave) and that works fine; even when I do a reboot, they stay there. If I try doing that on my new phone, rebooting wipes them, leaving only the app icons. I tried locking the home screen icons, but then I cannot move them around without unlocking again. The home screen icons on my old phone are not locked. There must be a way. Anyone help? -- Jim the Geordie
