Could I also point out that the script itself ripped off one of Jackie Chan's lousier movies, The Tuxedo, a James Bond spoof. Therefore, that script could not be saved. Howeverk the editing is what absolutely sucks all entertainment value out of the movie that the script is a lesser problem.
