That's only one, of many, servers and not everyone uses it; I don't, for example. And as I said, my provider doesn't carry that group, despite carrying some of alt.*. It occurs to me that the existence of alt groups for similar topics is a weak reason not to create a big 8 group, because of the more limited reach. - Dan C.
