Article says motorised scooter which, seems to be what Florida legislation
calls the E scooters.

Ie not a E bike or moped but one of the powered Scooters you stand on
holding the bars like the kids toys, they are not legal to use in UK still
which is a bit daft as well they are fairly common to see.

And as ever once the hype dies down they are generally a non issue.
