On Fri, 28 Mar 2025 19:43:06 -0000 (UTC), The Last Doctor listed lots of
stories on contemporary Earth:

'The Enemy of the World' is set in the future, even if it does feel more
like the sixties. (Possibly also 'The Web of Fear' and 'The Invasion'
depending on your approach to UNIT dating.)

OTOH 'The Faceless Ones' and the opening of 'Evil of the Daleks' are set
one year in the past to tie in with 'The War Machines'. (Similarly most of
the ninth and tenth Doctor's present day stories are actually one year in
the future thanks to the time skip before 'Aliens of London'.)
