It seems that the Taliban have banned glass windows that overlook
"women's spaces" in an attempt to ban "obscene acts".

It is NOT sufficient to cover windows that overlook "women's spaces"
with curtains or even plywood: they must be bricked over!

Of course the number of women's spaces are rather limited since there
are already so many restrictions on them. They already can't use public
restrooms or parks or any number of other places and seem to be covered
head to toe when they are out.

Unsurprisingly, suicides among women are up considerably since the
Taliban came back into power. What a horrible life they have, being
prohibited from working or getting educated beyond the sixth grade,
completely covered up while out of the home, only being allowed out with
a chaperone, forbidden to speak or sing in public and now being made
invisible by windows that might otherwise see them being bricked up.
