It clearly IS using 445, because the standard > Windows "Map Network Drive" works. Not very familiar with Windows, but on a mac you can specify the port when connecting to a network share. Only port 445 works with this server. Apple also list the ports they commonly use: https://support.apple.com/en-us/103229 There are many below 1024.
