I wonder how censorship works with Odelya Halevi? The actress is a Sephardic Jew, born in Israel. Her family emigrated from Yemen. The character she plays on Law & Order is a Lebanese ethnic born in the United States. I just read that when she first came to the United States, she couldn't speak English, but everyone in Israel learns English.
