Hot Cross Buns were on supermarket shelves here in New Zealand on
Boxing Day / 26 December. :-\ There are numerous different types of
them these days, but a recent radio station poll resulted in 70% of
voters choosing the traditional version as the best.

This week here there is Good Friday holiday, followed by Easter Monday
holiday, followed by ANZAC Day holiday next Friday (25 April). Plus,
Tuesday (22 April) is the Southland Anniversary Day holiday for people
living in that area of the country.
