Not the best way to start or end a trip but just like the storm, this too shall pass. In my many years of travel we have experienced several unpleasant situations. Of course that doesn’t make you feel better. After the crying, swearing and outright disgust (BTDT) all you can do is deal with it and look forward to the next adventure. By the way, good luck with the insurance company.
