Well, looks like they're still throwing established continuity out the
window.

There are no "lightsaber smiths". Every Jedi is responsible for selecting
his/her own kyber crystal and constructing the lightsaber around it and
maintaining it throughout their lives.

You don't take your lightsaber to a local mechanic for a tune-up or anything.
