This clip reminds me of one I saw a year or two back. A supply teacher 
in a school (middle school or high school if I remember correctly) takes 
attendance and one of the kid meows. The teacher looks puzzled and one 
of the students explains that the kid "identifies" as a cat. The teacher 
absolutely refuses to go along with that - and is promptly fired for 
being insensitive to the kid's identity. If it were me, I would have 
played along just long enough to prove the absurdity of the claim. 
Specifically, I would have waited until the "cat" asked to go to the 
bathroom, then improvised a litter box in a corner of the classroom and 
told the cat to do its business right there in front of everyone. (As we 
both know, cats are not afraid to answer the call of nature with humans 
looking on.)

Another option would have been to boot the kid out of class right away 
since school is for humans, not cats.
