I think the new father texted him but they mistook it for a message by
one of his wife's friends and ignored it. Although the sound came from
Dave's phone and I didn't think his wife's friend sends lots of
messages to Dave as well.

What I'd like to know is why it is of any relevance to us what the
size and weight are of a baby that was born to somebody we don't know
nor have ever heard of.
