The books were excellent! The only thing that bummed me out about them is that Philip Kerr died before a book that=20 gave Bernie a proper ending (living happily ever after or not). I highly recommend the books to anyone interested in the history of that era and/or very good mysteries. Nyssa, who hasn't been this excited about a possible TV show or movie in a looooong time
