I'm glad that you found the books AND are enjoying them!

Poor Bernie is like Dudley Do-Right. He keeps trying to
do the right thing (without getting killed by the bad
guys, including the Nazis), but always seems to end up
with the fuzzy end of the lollipop (to quote "Some Like
It Hot").

Nyssa, who wishes that Mr. Kerr had at least lived long
enough to give Poor Bernie's story a proper ending
