C'est historiquement impossible. Le manichéisme date du IIIe siècle de 
notre ère, alors que l'origine du bouddhisme remonte aux VIe – Ve 
siècles av. J.-C, et les premiers textes gandhariens - écrits sur 
écorce de bouleau - ont été datés du Ie siècle ap. J.-C.
