En commande mécanique du delco,  par son inertie le linguet du 
(inter)rupteur ne suis plus le profil de la came en atteignant le 
surrégime, l'allumage cafouille, c"est transposé en électronique, le 
calculateur s'en charge facilement.

Par paresse on en a conservé le nom.
