Je n'ai pas vraiment compris à quoi ça sert, par contre on peut trouver des bizarreries vraiment contre intuitives, comme par exemple : (-1)^2 = (exp(i*(2k+1)*pi))^2 = exp(2i*(2k+1)*pi) Jusque là rien d'exceptionnel me diras tu, mais si on calcule ((-1)^2)^(1/2) on obtient : ((-1)^2)^(1/2) = (exp(2i*(2k+1)*pi))^(1/2) = exp(i*(2k+1)*pi) = -1 D'où le résultat assez fou que (-1)^2 ≠ 1 si 1 peut être représenté par exp(4i*pi) ce n'est pas le cas de (-1)^2 qui ne peut être représenté que par exp(2i*pi), exp(6i*pi), exp(10i*pi)... mais pas exp(4i*pi) !!
