  Aha ! J'ai trouvé sur le web des sites qui indiquaient par exemple

|Être un ours mal léché. Définition : Personne peu sociable,
|manquant d'éducation, de finesse.

  J'en ai donc déduit que « manquant de finesse » était similaire
  à « n'est pas très subtil ».
