Sur ce sujet, voici un article résumé intéressant [1].

C'est aussi un rappel que certaines activités humaines, comme la
production de viande, sont aussi émettrices de gaz à effets de serre
très forts comme le méthane. Sauf erreur l'UE s'est saisie de ce problème [2].

Dans mon village, on remplace gentiment les 5% non renouvelable du
chauffage à distance (moyenne annuelle) par des gaz produits par de la
fermentation, qui sinon auraient fini dans l'athmosphère. Ces petits
efforts sont à faire partout et on y arrivera.
