À l'époque, l'habitude était de dire « on Merseyside » vu que le comté 
du même nom est apparu seulement en 1974 
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merseyside), donc bien après la fin des 
Beatles. J'aurais dû être plus attentif.
Aujourd'hui cela dépend finalement du point de vue de la personne qui 
parle : se voit-elle sur le bord de la rivière Mersey ou dans le comté 
de Mersey ? Entendu.
