En Amérique, on est des gosses (le Québec oblige).

"kids" auraient plusieurs traductions, chacune avec une connotation 
différente :

des gosses, des bambins, des lardons, des avortons...

mais "kids IN America", pour bien traduire :

les gamins EN Amérique

Autrement, les gamins d'Amérique serait

the kids FROM America, the kids OF America, ou bien

America's kids
