Oui (mais dans une formule courante et ironique, quand même).

Certains organismes gouvernementaux et PC peuvent bien changer 
l'orthographe, mais la prononciation restera la même, je pense. 
'Turkiye' est maladroit pour un anglophone - comment le prononce-t-on 
déjà ? Je doute qu'un Anglais le prononcera comme le fait un Turc.

Il n'y a, d'ailleurs, aucune confusion entre le pays et le volatile, 
aucune. Comme avec d'autres homonymes et homographes, le contexte 
élucide le sens.

À Noël :
