During May, rainfall was deficient over north-west India excepting 
Kashmir and the north-west frontier desipe the passage of eight western 
disturbances, probably because their track was somewhat more ntorherly 
than usual.

Punjab, the United Provinces, the central parts of the country and 
Hyderabad between the 25th and 28th of May. It is reported that during 
this spell some deeaths due to heat strokes occurend in Delhi and Nagpur.
