Parce que "who had insulted her husband at the Newark airport" modifie "a woman", la structure qui ne vous plaît pas est tout à fait acceptable en anglais. Cela se prononçait "frost" ; autre exemple, une famille d'origine mexicaine qui vit ici chez moi depuis super longtemps - plusieurs générations - dit "rays" pour "Reyes". Et ainsi de suite.) Perso, je dirais en lisant "Maginnes" comme "Meuh-GUINNE-esse" "McGuiness", mais ce n'est pas du tout cela, si on croit ce qu'on entend ici : https://www.howtopronounce.com/maginnes
