Mais le principe c'est le même. J'achète l'argent qui est prêté.

Et, en plus :

prêt :  Opération par laquelle des fonds sont remis à un bénéficiaire, 
moyennant le paiement d'un intérêt versé au prêteur, assorti de 
l'engagement de remboursement de la somme prêtée.

emprunt :   Démarche effectuée pour obtenir de l'argent ou un objet à 
titre de prêt : Être forcé de recourir à un emprunt.
