Je suis bête, il m’aurait suffit de retourner le problème : si je prends
un projecteur et que je projette une diapo sur un mur, c’est sûr que
l’image est moins lumineuse quand je recule le projo pour agrandir
l’image. 

Si je double la longueur et la largeur, j’ai autant de lumière sur une
zone quatre fois plus grande ; je perds deux diaphs*. Par contre je
devrai avoir une plus grande profondeur de champ et je peux être moins
précis pour la mise au point du projecteur.

Pour un diaph, j’agrandis les côtés de ±1,4
