vlc, je trouve qu'il coince souvent, donc j'utilise plutôt:

mplayer rtsp://192.168.0.42/toto

mais je ne sais pas si ça marche encore, je n'ai plus de stream de ce
type dans mon réseau (et la flemme de lancer vlc pour en générer un :->)
