En anglais, 'Marshall' avec deux l est un nom propre, le nom commun, 
voulant dire un officier dans divers domaines, s'orthographie avec un 
seul l.

Dans le contexte ci-dessus, 'marshall' n'est donc pas un mot anglais, 
mais bien un mot tout français.
