J'ai pratiqué le taraudage, et donc le tourne-à-gauche, en classe de 
technologie. L'origine du nom est exacte : on serine à l'apprenti : 
"tourne-à-gauche ! tourne-à-gauche !" pour qu'il ne casse pas le taraud.

R : "Good morning! A tap wrench is a hand tool that is used for holding 
and turning a tap or die while cutting threads on a workpiece. It is 
designed to provide a secure and comfortable grip on the tap or die, 
allowing the user to apply the necessary force and precision during the 
cutting process.
To use a tap wrench, follow these steps:
     Choose the appropriate size tap wrench for the tap or die you will 
be using. The wrench should fit snugly around the square section of the

Tout est exact, la seule différence est qu'en France, on tourne à gauche 
d'un demi-tour et non d'un huitième de tour.
