If we said: Chess's highest charting single on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in the 50s was "Sweet Little Sixteen" by Chuck Berry. OR Chess's highest charting single on Billboard's Pop Singles chart in the 50s was "Sweet Little Sixteen" by Chuck Berry, which was on the Chess label rather than on one of the company's subsidiary labels like Checker or Argo. Both statements are equally accurate. The second statement just adds some more non pertinent information. --
