However in games it's often dubbing as they can't or won't make characters actually look like they're people talking. Some games you're lucky if their lips move at all. Losing some at best and at worst all the non-verbal ques hurts a lot for understanding. I actually have fairly good hearing for my age (I took one of those tone tests with my kids, I was put at about 35 yr old and I'm in my 50s, my kids were above their actual age on degradation.)
