No, this is correct. The bgerror procedure is the old fashion and is 
obsolete. Use the interp bgerror described here:
https://www.tcl-lang.org/man/tcl8.6/TclCmd/interp.htm#M55

The two arguments are described in the subsection "Background error 
handling"
