Her DUI incidents (etc) may have been related to methamphetamine usage. Meth heads tend to self-destruct, sooner or later, with acts similar to hers (domestic violence, drug possession, property damage, [bad checks] and traffic violations). On the other hand, some are capable of becoming a typical person once the habit is kicked.
