If you need to have exponentiations and divides running in parallel _on a single CPU_ because the problem isn't parallel _enough_ to dispense with them being very tightly coupled... then, yes, that's a reasonable question. But _otherwise_ there is no limit on the number of calculations that can take place in parallel, just throw more CPUs at the problem. John Savard
