If that's what helps team Cheeto sleep at night, enjoy it. But it was absolutely not a joke back in the day. I'd concede it's hugely symbolic now though: expensive, incomplete, poorly thought out, a total waste of taxpayer dollars, got Bannon thrown in jail for grifting, and never kept one single immigrant out. It's a symbol now for sure.
