PS: I don't think they are traditional in the USA but Mom often made stuffing from store bought raisen bread and we all liked it. She didn't bake stuffing in the bird (fine by us) as it's faster without. Turns out safer too (food safety). The reason for them on the side is to let folks choose what they like.
