Presidential Medal of Freedom - to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the security or national interests of America, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors Trump stated - "When you get the Presidential Medal of Freedom it is usually for other things, like you have achieved great success." I don't believe Trump's idea of "great success" is related to the Presidential Medal of Freedom. "Great success" tends to be associated with an individual's achievement(s)...I'm not aware of Andrew Carnegie getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Note the "Freedom" word
