Examples are charts, logo's, and cartoon-style digital drawings." Installation A compiled Windows version is available on the "Releases" page. (It's jpeg2png.exe). Under Windows, you can also drag-and-drop JPEG files onto the program. Also, the example graphics really don't show any benefit. The first example, "Lena", the encoding is better than the bogus GIMP conversion, but the jpeg2png is worse than the original. Why not use an original JPEG as the base. And show numbers (file sizes).
